The New Paul Frank Spring 2013 Eyewear Collection eyewear collection includes 8 new ophthalmic frames and 10 new sun frames. The collection was debuted in Paris at the SILMO Eyewear Tradeshow in October and will be in stores in the beginning of December. The collection continues to build on its foundation of 3-layer plastics in signature Paul Frank colors with the introduction of the 2 new colorations, Midnight and Chocolate Seafoam. Midnight flaunts a deep blue front layer with a white middle and transpar ent teal inside. Chocolate Seafoam presents a chocolate brown front layer, seafoam middle layer and cream inside layer. The new collection continues with the use of matte finishes on c ore colorations and also introduced additional matte finishing choices for the Slate and Midnight colors. A key style in the collection is Summer Windows, offered as both a sunglass and ophthalmic glass, and is a mid-size classically round frame with a keyhole bridge. The midnight coloration of Summer Windows uses color to create a sleak two-tone look by cutting away the first layer of plastic to expose a layer of white below the brow line on the front of the frame. Also prominent in the collection is the addition of 3 new metal ophthalmic frames; Periodically Perfect, Arrived and Departed, and Slumbering Stars. Slumbering Stars stands out as a well-balance petite and feminine style with a slight cat-eye. The metal frames are handmade of lightweight hypo-allergenic stainless steel with adjustable acetate temple tips. The Paul Frank colors are applied multidimensionally on the metal to mimic the 3-layer acetate frames signature aesthetic but provide a thinner silhouetted look with adjustable nose pads for increased comfort. Globally positioned Paul Frank eyewear can be found in such premiere retail locations as well as Paul Frank’s own stores.

The collection will retail from € 145,- to € 205,- and is now shipping to an exclusive network of fine retailers.
